Why Populica exists

Most marketing teams write ad copy before they've written down who they're actually talking to. Populica exists to fix the order of operations.

Populica is built by Diego Vegue Castell, founder of Cipion Marketing, an AI-driven marketing studio in Miami. Diego was part of the team that built one of the first banking apps in the world, at Bank of America in San Francisco — before "app" was even a word most people used. He currently serves as AVP of Product Marketing at a US credit union, where he owns go-to-market for deposit products, and he has published three books.

Populica grew out of a simple frustration: every campaign brief starts with a guess about the audience, dressed up as research. Cipion Marketing had already built an internal tool that generated real, sector-specific buyer personas for client work instead of relying on generic demographic templates. Populica is that engine, rebuilt as a product any marketer or agency can use directly — research first, then strategy, then creative, in that order.

How it actually works

Enter a company name, website and sector. Populica runs an AI research pass and returns 8-16 personas specific to that business, each with a stated objection and tone rather than a demographic average. From there, a six-step campaign studio turns those personas into strategy, on-brand ad creative, and a print-ready launch document.

What we won't do

We won't publish fabricated case studies, invented customer numbers, or reviews that aren't real. If we don't have evidence for a claim, we don't make it — on this site or in the product's own research output.
